How we use your photos
What we do with the photos you take, in plain terms.
Photos are the whole product here, so it is fair to ask what happens to them. This page is the short answer. The Privacy Policy is the full one.
Where your photos are kept
We store them so you can use them: in your catalog, on your item pages, and in what we send to your store.
They stay in your workspace. Another workspace cannot reach them.
What we do with them
- Show them in your catalog and on your items.
- Read them to draft your listing details.
- Check them against your own catalog to warn you about a possible duplicate.
- Send them to Square or Shopify when you sync.
That last one is worth saying plainly. A photo you sync leaves RareSync and lands in your store, where your store's own rules apply to it.
Who can see them
- Your team. Anyone in your workspace sees your catalog photos.
- Your connected stores, for photos you sync.
- Us, when we need to run the features above or help you with a problem.
We do not sell your photos, and we do not put them in front of other shops.
Training
Settings has a switch for using your photos to improve item recognition. See Training the AI.
