How the AI writes for you
Set the voice, the length and which fields we fill in for you.
We draft your listings, and you decide how they read. Everything here is in Settings, then Listing AI.
Set it once. It applies to everything we write from then on.
Pick a voice
Generation profile sets who the writing sounds like. Three choices:
- Plain. Just the facts, in plain language.
- Polished. Premium and restrained, never hyped.
- Personal. Warm, like a maker describing their own work.
Plain is the starting point, and it is the safe answer if you are not sure. Personal suits handmade and vintage. Polished suits jewellery and designer pieces.
Pick a length
Detail level is a slider with three stops, and it sets how long a description runs:
- Concise. One tight paragraph for quick browsers.
- Standard. A paragraph plus the key specs.
- Detailed. A full write-up for high-value items.
Tell us about your shop
Business context is optional and it does more than you would expect. Three short fields:
- Sells to, who your listings are written for
- Industry
- Sub-industry
Filling these in gets you the words of your trade rather than generic ones. A jeweller and a hardware shop should not get the same description of a brass ring.
Industry starts blank, and once you open it we ask you to pick one. If none of the groups fits, choose Other.
Choose which fields we fill in
Under AI Field Generation:
- Generate SKU, and SKU Format to shape the codes we make.
- Generate Category, so we suggest a category.
Turn either off and the field is yours to fill in. Nothing else changes.
Duplicate Guard Sensitivity
This slider, between Lenient and Strict, sets how alike a new photo has to be before we warn you that you may already have the item.
- Move it towards Strict if we keep warning you about things that are only similar.
- Move it towards Lenient if near-duplicates are getting past you.
Shops with a lot of unique items usually want it stricter. Shops with rows of near-identical stock usually want it looser.
