Get a copy of your RareSync data as a file, right away.
Download your data
Your data comes down as a file straight away. There is nothing to request and nothing to wait for.
- Open Account.
- Under Privacy & Data, choose Export Data.
- Pick a format.
- Choose Export.
The file saves to your device the way any download does. If nothing seems to happen, check your browser's downloads folder before trying again.
Pick a format
- JSON keeps the full structure. Choose this if you are moving the data into another system, or handing it to someone technical.
- CSV flattens everything into rows you can open in a spreadsheet. Choose this if you want to read it yourself.
JSON is the more complete of the two. CSV is the more readable. Take both if you are not sure.
What is in the file
Your account details, your workspace, your catalog and the records we hold against them.
What we leave out
Anything that would be dangerous in a file. The keys that let RareSync reach your Square and Shopify accounts are removed before the file is built, so an export cannot be used to get into your store.
Your photos are not packed into the file either. They stay in your catalog, and you can save any of them from the item.

Who can do this
Anyone can export their own account data. It sits on your own Account screen.
