Find an item

Search your catalog

Open Catalog and use the search box at the top. Type part of anything you remember about the item and the list narrows as you type.

This page is the catalog search box: words you type. To find an item by taking a picture of it, or for the short version of both, see Search.

You do not need the whole word or the right capital letters. Typing blu finds the blue one.

What search looks at

Search reads several fields at once, so a scrap of any of these will find the item:

• Name
• SKU
• Description
• Category and product type
• Tags
• Barcode

For an item that comes in sizes or colours, search also reads the parent item's details. So searching the main name finds every version of it.

Find an item faster

• Use one short word that only that item would have. Two words narrow less than you would expect, because both have to appear in the same field.
• Clear the search box to bring the whole catalog back.
• Search only looks at items you can currently see. If you have a filter on, clear it first. See Filters and sorting.
• Archived items are hidden from the list, so set Status to Archived if you are hunting for something you put away. Deleted items are gone and no filter brings them back.

Cannot find an item you know you saved? Check the Status filter first. The catalog hides archived items by default, and that is what catches people out.
