Shopify integration
Open a connected Shopify store, reconnect it, and set how items move.
Once Shopify is linked, this is the page for that store: its accounts, reconnect, and how items move. If you have not connected yet, start with Connect Shopify.
Changes on this page save as soon as you make them.
Open the connected store
- Open Sync.
- Open the Shopify card's actions menu (the three dots).
- Choose View integration.
The page heading is Shopify integration. Back returns you to Sync.
View history on the same page lists past sync runs for this store.
Reconnect
Use this when Shopify access has expired, you approved the wrong store, or you want to grant permission again.
- Open the Shopify integration as above.
- Find the account in Accounts.
- Choose Reconnect.
- Type the store address again. It looks like
your-store.myshopify.com. - Approve the request on Shopify.
Back on Sync, reconnecting the same Shopify store does not use another slot on your plan.
To add a different Shopify store, choose Connect another. That does count against the account limit.
Sync direction
On Sync settings, Sync Direction has three choices:
- Import Only. Shopify changes flow into RareSync.
- Export Only. RareSync changes flow into Shopify.
- Import and Export. Changes flow both ways.
Which fields actually move is in What syncs, and what does not. Import and Export is the one that can produce a disagreement. See When two versions disagree.
To change where each field lands, choose Customize on Matching Fields. See Match up your fields.
Auto-Sync
Auto-Sync is on Sync settings. It does not start a sync on its own. Items still only move when someone presses Sync Now.
See Send your items to your store.
Currency and listing defaults
Two more rows sit on Sync settings.
Currency sets which currency this connection's prices use. It follows your workspace unless you choose Custom and pick another.
Listing defaults holds the values used on every item that does not set its own. Choose Set defaults to change them.
Accounts on your plan
Each plan caps how many Shopify accounts you can keep connected. The live number is in Settings, then Billing. See Limits on your plan.
When you are at the cap, Connect another is disabled. The page tells you whether a higher plan unlocks more.
Each account row shows a Shop domain, a Connected or Paused badge, and its own Sync Now, Reconnect, and Disconnect.
Who can change this
Owners and Admins. Members can see the page and cannot change it.
Pause or disconnect
Disable on the top card pauses Shopify. Status reads Paused, and Sync Now waits until you choose Enable again.
Disconnect on an account row deletes that connection and its saved settings and history. Your RareSync items stay. See Disconnect a store.
